What is Matrescence?

You might have heard that term before…

”Matrescence”—coined by the anthropologist Dana Raphael— is defined as the process of becoming a Mother. 

It’s a word used to describe the physical, psychological, and emotional changes that occur as we go through the monumental transformation that is motherhood. 

The influence and inspiration for this first collection is Motherhood;

The journey to motherhood, the birth of the woman as a mother and the relationship and bond with the most special gift, your baby.

Adventuring into the unknown

Your heart fuller than you could ever imagine
